The Mastering and Recording Studios of Maminidi Records, Inc. are designed to produce any style of music: everything from Rock, Pop, and Hip Hop music to Jazz bands and Orchestral ensembles.  With the right tools and know-how, a wide variety of music is comfortably managed. Maminidi's Studios also provide music, voice over recording, forensic audio services, and sound design services for television, video, and other multimedia projects.

Maminidi excels at taking projects from concept, through recording and mixing, to finished master.  Solo artists will be interested to know that writing and arranging help is available in a variety of styles usually on a work-for-hire or residual basis.  The extensive arsenal of samples, loops, live instruments and MIDI instruments makes creating the perfect sound easy.

Cutting Edge Recording

At our studio you’ll find a very modern approach to recording.  At the heart of the process are three powerful DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations).  Two are used for tracking, mixing, and mastering; the third for sampling, sound design, and softsynth functions.  The ample potential of these DAWs is complimented by first-rate analog equipment.

A range of tones, from ultra-clean to vintage, are expertly crafted by mixing and matching a diverse microphone collection with some of the most unique and respected preamps and other outboard equipment available.

All studio equipment has been carefully chosen to powerfully balance superb sound quality with the ease, flexibility, and clarity of digital music editing.

With trained ears and a musical approach, Maminidi has a passion for bringing out the best in every project.  We offer an accomplished recording staff as well as music producers and composers both in house and by referral.

Maminidi Records’ President and owner, Dirk Gouwens, is a master arranger, composer, and producer, as well as its chief audio engineer.  Dirk has spent years touring and performing with certain music groups as lead vocalist and others as a keyboardist and percussionist.  He has given well over 2000 live performances and often appeared on TV and film.  His extensive performance background and experience working with many musicians translate to a greater sensitivity to artists' needs and temperaments, and how best to channel those into a great recording. Dirk's insistence on quality shows both in the recording equipment assembled at Maminidi and his careful, meticulous listening skills.

Above all other things, each performer's artistry must shine through. That is why Maminidi Records uses a versatile and adaptive recording approach. Whatever is right for the sound is done. This means that creatively unconventional techniques are sometimes called upon and even invented on the spot. The recording world's hushed secret is that it is ridiculously easy to record. But more than just superior recording equipment, it takes skilled listening and engineering to produce a truly outstanding product.
